For what it's worth, a reseller (Zasmos.com) with whom I've been
working is coming up from San Diego to help me think through some
KVMoIP solutions on Friday, Jan 26. (We actually were coworkers at
MRV).

He mostly sells Avocent/Cyclades and Raritan. I like what I've seen of
both products. In fact, I recently went to Huntsville, AL for
training on Avocent's DSView.

If you have to mange servers and want a rock solid way to see BIOS
remotely, mount ISOs to repair dead boxes, hard reboot servers, etc,
then you should definitely check out KVMoIP. Cyclades has some cool
features for Cisco/nix boxes also, such as logging all your keystrokes
for various compliance reasons.

If any of you have any KVM questions, I'd be happy to refer you to
him. He used to manage the SEs at MRV, so he's a lot easier to talk
to about datacenter-related stuff than most sales ppl.
