again. However I have had good experiences with some of the tools they
provide in their admin tool packs. I think it was grep that I needed.
I wanted to use scanreg from a command prompt to find specific keys
with version info and pipe results to grep. They had something like
egrep or whatever that worked pretty nicely.
Check out http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/ as Cygwin.
I never used locate on windows but that would be nice.
