Today I interviewed with a company for a Linux sysadmin position. The
Russian guy who interviewed me asked me why I didn't use FreeBSD, and
my answer basically that I was hooked on some of the package
management tools and that if I cut my teeth on it, then I'd probably
use it more.

I wonder what it is about Russians and FreeBSD? It seems as if
FreeBSD is a major part of their computer science programs or
something. A friend of mine says that ISPs over there use FreeBSD
more than one might imagine. A client of mine is Ukranian and he says
that all of his friends over there use it, as well.
