People expect to get what's advertised. He, and some of the sites he points to, make some good comments about other lines in their tos making it impossible to ever reach the amount of transit they allow. It's been an occasional problem for us; we charge in the same price range but we don't oversell. The problem isn't the 4Gig of memory, and it isn't the processor, it's the kind of sites Dreamhost attracts.
