So, on my down time (I just got laid off last week), I've been studying
for several Linux certs. Not knowing where to begin, I started with the
LPI's 117-101/102 (about where I am, skillset wise, I think)

Going through the topics one-by-one, I'm surprised at how little I knew
about certain very general concepts and commands, such as ldconfig. A
lot of this stuff is done in the background of the various distros I've
used.
If any one wants to take the test with me, let me know. I'm just going
through each topic one by one and making sure I know it before I go to
the next one.
