Well, in case you've been hiding under a rock for the past 2 or 3 days.
There was this article in 'Fortune' about how Microsoft owned 235
patents that FOSS was infringing on.

I loved PJ's comments on Groklaw from last night.

http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=20070513234519615

I'm looking at reasons 4, 5 ( & 6 kinda) and I'm thinking, if SCO was so
unsuccessful suing over infringements, how does Microsoft think they can
do one better?

Does everyone here know what is the meaning of "FUD"? Remember how
Microsoft has used FUD for years to scare people away from using Linux?
Well, it's time. It's time to spread FUD about Microsoft.

For your own personal perusement, I have provided some starter FUD
phrases, (Feel free to use them with co-workers, management, customers,
neighbors, etc...)

* "Do you really want to use software from a company that will sue you?"

* "Are you comfortable spending money on that software when it's license
does not protect you from that software vendor dragging you into court
over something you did not do?"

* "Can you trust a company that will sue it's customers?"

the list could go on and on... learn and practice how to use this MS
fud...

Cheers :)
