For whatever reason, I had a helluva time getting Songbird to not crash on OS X. I uninstalled, installed again, wash, rinse, repeat....all to no avail.
One of the techs @ La Sierra finally recommended me AppZapper. I used that, reinstalled Songbird, and now everything works perfectly. If anyone would like a copy, email me and I might be able to point you in the right direction.
