Hopefully Roger you'll see this as the simple question it's meant to be,
and not as any kind of value judgement.
I find myself asking this because so many of our webhosting dedicated
servers ask us for Fedora.
How come companies choose to deploy Fedora, with it's short update-cycle
and consequent short lifetime, instead of CentOS, which it's much
longer cycles, at the same price?
I totally agree with you, Jeff.
In this case, I am closely trying to replicate what the military sites
here in Virginia have, which (I am told) is Fedora Core / REL-based
Nagios servers.
I'll pick CentOS any day of the week over FC, but who am I to say no
to "supporting our troops", right?
I know I'm going to regret this, but I'm packing up my laptop and
heading over to Waffle House for some colon blowing goodness. This
place makes Norms look like a 5 star restaurant.
