[9fans] confusion about dns data base

this entry from dns here is in the local ndb files.

        buda.quanstro.net
                buda.quanstro.net ip    192.168.0.139 AN 0/3600
                buda.quanstro.net ip    192.168.0.139 AD 1411699741/3600


AN means authoratative from network, and AD means authoratative from (n)db 
files.
why would dns be caching AN answers when it's in the local db file, and where 
would
it be getting these answers from.  itself?
