The keyboard is assigned L'b' (for pc and sgi), and in ppc/devirq.c, the device is assigned 'b'. But it is the same character 'b', no? Depending on the archs, the character assignment may differ? Could the characters be defined, uniquely, in a machine independent header file via defines?
