there are three reasons:

1.) a comprehensive list of tested hardware used to be included inside
the body of the fqa itself, but eventually became unwieldy, especially
for the print edition.

2.) the specific url points to a top-level directory containing that
same comprehensive list. look at the menu links on the left side of
the page.

3.) i sometimes sell hardware. i put a short list of stuff in that
same top-level directory's index page (plan9 -> stanleylieber ->
hardware; it makes sense if you think about it).

i started playing with plan 9 in earnest around 2008, maybe 2009.
since that time i have attempted to document the systems i've run
plan 9 on, including specific information about configuration,
photos, etc. i have also included some information sent to me
by other people. these pages are the result of that effort.

for various reasons i don't fully understand myself, 9front-specific
questions are usually better received on the 9front mailing list.

caveat emptor,

sl
