i have a librebooted x230 and the same thing happens. 9front doesn't freeze, but it is doing something with graphics stack which i have not figure out yet. it takes a few seconds, but at some point the boot process waits for user input
so you should just blindly type this: \n \n .\n igfx\n \n first one is for boot disk second for user third for vgasize fourth for monitor fifth for mouse device as soon as you set the graphics driver, the plan 9 console shows up as usual
