This brought on a thousand yard stare for a moment. ;) Besides my experience of various ordinary failures over the last 30 years, my Internet connection in the last 2 weeks has been a disaster! But then I realised Plan 9 expects reliability and it's not really so bad. If you know the network will be unreliable, you tunnel connections over `aan` (always available network). Provided the server IP address doesn't change, aan can reconnect after failures. ------------------------------------------ 9fans: 9fans Permalink: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/Te8d7c6e48b5c075b-Mde5c4563926e2a88a7b46201 Delivery options: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/subscription
