Right now, I'm using gefs without snapshots on an sd card. It works, but it's kinda slow sometimes. I just don't want to remove the stock Linux on the emmc yet, and it's good enough (pun intended) for testing. Right now, the whole thing is ok with rio and the emulated three mouse buttons using the buttons, but I think in the future we need a different desktop environment (and probably a better soft keyboard). For the modem, I think with sms functionality and things like that, having one or many filesystems makes sense. I can play around with it when I get the modem working on my device. Sadly, it seems my battery is dead. I can't really confirm that yet, but if anyone's coming to the chemnitz linux days who has a working pinephone battery (or a compatible one) I could use for a quick test, that would be really helpful. sirjofri ------------------------------------------ 9fans: 9fans Permalink: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/T3ea7cf6e23ff2463-M22791724e6fcdd4bbab82c26 Delivery options: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/subscription
