any reason why it is not AoIP (i mean ATA over IP)? that way it would be even more flexible. i am sure you have a reason behind but would like to know why you chose not to use ip. i think a skinny IP/UDP is a good choice too. i guess it is time to read the coraid paper! thanks dharani
