Yes.  But keeping both eyes on several files is a natural
extension to the original idea, isn't it?

Just executing "Put; mk" should fine for acme users.
Sadly enough, acme doesn't like the combination of
internal and external command.

        Put: '/bin/Put' file does not exist
        mk: nothing to mk
        rc 8436: mk 8438: error
