i store a version of inferno on a little usb flash device that i keep on my keyring. on most windows computers, i can just plug it in the back, double click, and up comes my usual environment. initially it's a bit slow running directly off the flash, but just fine once all the bits have been obtained. i can use this for a drawterm connection too. i find this useful whereever there are only windows machines and i want to check email, etc. it saves carrying a laptop around - particularly useful in net cafÃs when on holiday...
