I got the chance to speak with him briefly by phone when brucee was visiting him in Paris just a short while back. As recently as Friday July 1st we had exchanged email about meeting in the Bay Area on his way to Australia. Not time enough to really know him, but I have a feeling that with boyd, what you saw is what you got. He will be missed. -Skip
