worth noting that the xbox does this. It has a hypervisor. It is a very innovative piece of gear in many ways, worth learning from. The Xbox (and probably the ps/3) are going to bring hypervisor to the masses -- and the hypervisor smarts are at IBM.

There's some neat stuff going on, even if you might not like the folks doing it.
