the Logitech mouse is usb and the Saitek too. The ps2 in the plan9.ini is because the touchpad is ps2.
With the same configuration the logitech wheel not goes while the saitek goes perfectly. I think the problem is in the Logitech

The Logitech mouse is PS/2?
If you "just" chose "ps2" as the mouse driver, the wheel is not
honored, see mouse(3). You can either use "ps2intellimouse", or write
"intellimouse" to /dev/mousectl later on. At least it was like that for
me.
