yep. By 3rd party software I mean stuff like compilers, libraries, CAD tools, and so on. It's going to be a while before it's all 64-bit for linux, I would guess. And, seeing the stuff that they do in gnu* nowadays, that's hardly surprising.

I mean, ld scripts where a .so should be? holy mackeral.
