yes, there is a stream sam (ssam) written for 9tools:

Conceived and written by Alistair Crooks ([EMAIL PROTECTED], or
[EMAIL PROTECTED]). I've since found out that Byron Rakitzis
wrote a similar program, with less functionality, called ss, which was
based on Henry Spencer's regular expression code.
i can't find a current version of this on the net.
