A colleague of mine, who is a chair of ANSI C++ Committee, told me once that the most bizarre feature requests come from the committee members who happen to be independent C++ consultants. Industry representatives usually just shake their heads in disbelief. Thanks, Roman. P.S. Now, if I were an independent C++ consultant, I wouldn't push too hard, after all -- even they should remember what happened to the Tower of Babel.
