Could be. What is a dac960? If you did an Adaptec aic driver you'd be
much more popular, but there are so many variants you might regret it!
i don't know a think about scsi bus protocol and i don't have a bus analyzer.
is such a beast affordable? (i am running old va linux boxen after all.)
I very much doubt it it would be affordable. Think several 1000 $.
