now is probably as good a time as ever to announce that the Secret Plan 9 Secret Society Society held its bi-monthly meeting at the USENIX Conference. Jim was incapacitated and the whole OS was recompiled with gcc. the announcement of the new 9P extensions will happen shortly, probably today.
