  And that I regard as the third most cherished virtue of Plan9 -- the 9fans.
  As much as I've had noticeably better luck with reading Plan9 code
  for self educating purposes I've had even better luck with asking questions
  and getting insightful answers on this list. Even in cases where questions
  didn't have anything to do with Plan9 per se. True -- there's occasional
  flame storm here and there or a ghost from the hangar, but compared to
  the usual opensource mailing lists its like comparing College and High School,
  if you know what I mean ;-)


Yeah, I'd like to second that.  I've been known to ask the occasional
pointed question which always seems to do one of two beneficial
things.

1. Opens up a discussion about things and a exploration of a topic
that maybe someone other than myself is at least "lurkingly"
interested in.

2. Exposes my ignorance of some fact or feature, and allows me to grow
a bit more.

This list is generally very good for those things and it's because of
all the people on it.
