he corner cases make caching difficult. (dialup reduces the apparent difficulty.) i'm not sure the current webfs design lends itself well to caching. i'm not sure what uriel did, but perhaps a fourth tld, cache, should be added. this would make it easier to manipulate the state with normal tools.
