... and i'm sorry because i didn't read the source path name properly. i'd forgotten there was a ramfs example in lib9p, and was thinking you'd pointed to /sys/src/cmd/ramfs.c which is a different beast entirely (and has been recommended as an example in the past). i'd agree that /sys/src/lib9p/ramfs.c is a useful example.
