Jim implemented this at one point and it's how Plan 9 is able to work with Parallels, however I'm not sure if it ever got put with the rest of sources.
Should it have been? mordor.tip9ug.jp doesn't seem to be serving up the pages I had with instructions anymore and I've been getting questions about running Plan 9 on Parallels now. Dave
