for those who don't use ^m for newlines, you can also use the insert key on pc keyboards. ;-) this is built into rio and acme so the shell is a non sequitor. completion is not available at the console.
it is unfortunate that completion is tied to a fixed namespace and unfortunately it's usually the wrong one.
