Is it going to be enough of that to make it possible to cpu from
inferno to plan 9 though? :-)

i do this, (cpu from inferno to plan 9) but i'm not sure anyone else does or 
has.

my setup involves a few additions to inferno.
it's all on sources in /contrib/rog/infauth

there's a README that describes what i do. i don't know how
easy it is to understand!
