for the record: i've been using a converted image all morning on a MacBook Pro (one generation old now, 2.1ghz) with no crashes.
for those that have systems that crash, i suggest recording the panic messages and sending them either to lionkov or to me. we'll get together with jmk next week and will perhaps have a bit of time and the hardware to help fix those issues.
