I feel an obligation to point out that, depending on the files being shared, using such programs could be illegal. I do not believe the list moderators would appreciate getting shut down because of illegal activity being linked to their group. If you must ask questions like this, be sure to make it absolutely clear that you are asking for transferring software that is legal to transfer, and if you are responding, please advise the person you are responding to that YOU are not responsible if they use it for illegal purposes. I would not want to be responsible, in a legal sense, for someone using winmx or something to transfer illegal software. I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud, but I would like everyone to avoid any flack from the Empire.
