SP2 is upgrading a lot of security issues that otherwise without them could
harm your computer. It also adds some nice little upgrades. Microsoft always
does their best and as with any other software there are usually updates and
fixes as time goes on. Nothing is perfect when it is first released but
Microsoft started beta testing SP2 at the consumer level about a year ago.
It works great for me and for others and I really like some of the new
changes. I don't use automatic updating with anything and I also have the
new firewall disabled because personally I prefer Nortons Internet Security.
It seems that some people just like to beat up on Bill Gates and Microsoft
but Bill Gates has saved a lot of lives through his foundation and he also
gives a lot of money to Education and other charities. Over $4 billion
dollars over the last couple of years. More so than any other person in the
U.S. or the world. Even with the billions of dollars in Hollywood they only
hoard their money. Believe me I know.
Best wishes.

Michael
