SP2 recognizes everything on my computer just fine. I think it, Windows XP, Bill Gates and Microsoft are really good and care deeply about the average consumer and I am not a computer expert either. I am just a novice who loves learning and helping others when I can. Best wishes. Tom you will make the right decision for you but I am very happy that I installed SP2 on my machine.
