Sally, Presuming you have Win2000 or, WinXP:
1. Did you try to uninstall the program, via the Add/Remove function, in
the Control Panel? If not, you need to do that, before, you can
install/re-install the program.
2. With the corrupt file, trying to re-install Office '03 is like, trying
to put a new tire on a car without, removing the blown one, first.
