Hello N Thomas

Well I thought you had the answer for me but it doesn't seem to work :-(
  Here is what I tried

Control Panel>System>Advanced>User Profile>Settings
Click on a User (myself)>Copy To>Browse

Now this is where I might be going wrong so perhaps you would be kind
enough to help me out again. Which folder should I be browsing for? I
see my wife's folder on the path:

C\Documents and settings\Wife and then lots of folders under Wife
including Application Data, Desktop,Local Settings, Start menu ets etc.

Am I supposed to be "Copying to" the "Wife" folder with all the sub
folders or should I be selecting a particular folder in the Wife folder
say the "Local Settings" folder when I am browsing for a folder to copy
to? I hope I am making sense :-(

You can easily duplicate user profiles by using the "System
Properties" applet from the Control Panel.
Goto [Advanced] > User Profiles: {Settings...} to access this.
