No, they are two seperate programs. The Antispyware is designed to
remove spyway, adware etc from your computer when you use it to scan
your files. The Malicious Software Removal Tool is to remove a virus
you may have attracted but its ability is limited to removing only
about 10 know current virusus. The Tool in fact suggests you visit the
MS website and look at the pages relating to PC Security with regard
to installing a firewall and effective anti-virus software so you
don't attract these things in the first place!! Neither program offers
any protection, just the ability to exterminate!!
