I accidently tried to unistall Wintasks a couple of days ago. I
pressed the cancel button before anything drastic happened. When I
tried to run it today, it would pop up in the system tray for a couple
of seconds, then go away when I tried to click on it. I tried
unistalling it to no avail, saying there was a missing program and i
would have to contact my vendor. I tried ashampoo's unistaller but it
was just like the reg, which didn't work. So finally I deleted the
folder and all Icons of it I could find. Also, when I try reinstalling
it i'm told theres a version already on the computer and i would have
to unistall that first.
Is there a way that I can get rid of that Wintasks so I can clean
install it. I installed a lot more software in the past days and I'm
afraid i'll have to reinstall something (like my new antivirus and
such) if I do a system restore.
Also, is there a similair product to Wintasks? (It monitors what your
programs are doing, shows your startup stuff, and lil things like that)
