You can drag the program into the Start menu by dragging the progrm to 
START> All Programs> and then you will see STARTUP in the list.  Simply 
drag it into that folder.  Or, you can also just go to the folder in 
your Documents and Settings directory under your name. There you will 
see a folder called Startup Menu.

You didn't specify which version of windows you have but the above 
instructions are for XP.
