You're supposed to say "Y"es....
"Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in useby another process."
This message always happens on a system disk because Windows always
has file locks open on the disk (volume).  Some disk may not be in use
and CHKDSK can work with them while Windows is running.
CHKDS schedules to run repairs once you restart and before Windows,
fully loads so it can have exclusive access to the disk.
