I think all you need to do is go to System Restore Options and turn System
Restore off, then reboot. It should delete the system restore points. Don't
forget to turn it back on when your sure the system is clean.

Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Re: Netsky Virus + System Restore

I have used AVG in the past but it did not let me scan or update the
software. I tried again and it looks like the bugs were fixed since I last
used it. I ran a scan earlier and it came up clean. I then ran a scan
through Housecall again and Norton kept picking up the viruses yet again. I
had to remove the AVG software because it started causing my system to crash
but it didn't seem to help with the virus issue.

Is there a way to automatically remove old System Restore archives or do I
need to do this manually? Everytime I run the Housecall scan, the virus
messages start popping up when it's running through the Restore archives so
I'm wondering if the viruses are located in there somewhere.

Please get back to me!

Thanks,
- Atryeu
