Unless the CPU front side bus speed is 133 MHz, in that case the system will not POST. (because the CPU needs 133 MHz and the memory is only running at 100 MHz) This trick only works with 66 and 100 FSB CPUs. (Like Slot 1 Pentium II, and Pentium II A and B series. Socket 370 Pentium IIIs are 133 MHz. IBM 6-x86, Cyrix 2, AMD K6 and K6-2 are also 100 Mhz, in most cases, check your CPU markings to verify)
