Thanks, N. Using FAT32 maybe because I am just more confident with it and I do not need all the security features of NTFS. So since FAT32 works fine for me, why change from something I am familiar with to something just because it is new?
Really, tho. I have a dual boot system, win98 and Xp pro, and I didn't want any problem with interoperability between the two in sharing files. (I know this may not be a problem, but I don't want to challenge it.) Secondly, so many of the disk tools are only for FAT32 (e.g., the Win98 Fdisk, and many others), and NTFS is pretty exclusive. thanks, again, anyway. Homer --- "N.
