I vote for number one! Although we don't know if he/she knows enough or wants to know enough about how to put their old HD in the new computer. For some that know their software and not their hardware, burning a CD is easy, but moving a HD is hard.
Either way, if you call me I'll give you 30 min tech support for free to do the swap. When I was a Gateway tech support, they would have only given me 15 min to do the swap....
