Well as a last resort you can just copy your bookmarks.htm file from
your Firefox profile (located in your ~/.mozilla/firefox directory)
Uninstall Firefox and delete the profile directory and the Mozilla
Firefox directory and reinstall it and reimport the Bookmarks.
