Ginny, Have you tried, tried the power cables?  What I am referring to is 
not, the cable physically attached to the power supply but, the conversion 
cable that is used to attach to the cable from the power supply then, the 
other smaller end, attaches to the back of the hard drive.  Have you tried 
swapping that, for another one?
