Try http://my.yahoo.com and use the customization features to set it
with news and weather, etc relevant to what you want.
To set the site as the home page in Firefox: Tools > Options >
[General] > Homapge: {Use Current Page}, or
Drag the site's document icon in the Address bar over the "Home Page"
button on the toolbar.
