There might be something wrong with the OE index file.
Simple to fix, just delete it and OE will rebuild the index.
Open your OE store folder (C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local
Settings\Application Data\Identities\{123-ABC}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express). You can take a moment to delete the irrelivent folders,
since OE stores each folder in a separate DBX file. Then just delete
the index file. Open OE and it should rebuild it automatically. If
it doesn't just reimport the missing folders using File > Import,
select OE store folder and point it back to the store folder. Make
sure you don't allow it to import duplicates. If you have trouble
importing, move the non-default (default: ie. Inbox, Deleted, Sent,
Outbox) DBX files to another folder then Import from that folder.
