Even this sounds far fetched. What if you do the sequence that is shutting 
down your browser but then don't do anything else. OH, and check to see what 
site the browser is on when this happens. If it does it again, open the 
borwser and go to a different site, even if you have to temporarily change 
it's home site. See if that changes things.
